Speaker 1: Richard Maatman - CEO Hendrix-Genetics

Richard Maatman is an experienced leader in animal genetics and nutrition, with over 30 years in the industry. As CEO of Hendrix Genetics, he drives innovation in sustainable breeding solutions for poultry, swine, and aquaculture. Previously, he held leadership roles at Nutreco, contributing to global strategies in animal nutrition and health. His deep expertise in genetics, business development, and industry trends makes him a respected voice in the field.

Speaker 2: Joyce Neth - Vice President, Director of Audience Engagement of WATT Global Media

Joyce Neth is an accomplished research and audience development expert with over 30 years of experience in media and market research. As Vice President and Director of Audience Development & Research at WATT Global Media since 2006, Joyce has been a driving force in leveraging primary research to understand audience behaviors and trends, especially in the agribusiness and animal health sectors. Before joining WATT Global Media, Joyce held leadership roles at Quincy Newspapers Inc., St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and Tribune-Review Publishing, where she directed audience research for television, newspapers, and digital platforms. Her expertise spans business development, product innovation, and advertising strategies. Joyce began her career at Westinghouse Electric Company, where she specialized in strategic marketing and communication of technical and scientific information.

Joyce holds a Master’s degree in Energy Resources Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Allegheny College. She is a passionate advocate for actionable insights, making her a sought-after speaker and thought leader in generational audience trends.

Speaker 3: Joost ter Heerdt - CCO HatchTech Incubation Technology

Joost ter Heerdt has been with HatchTech since 2002, playing a key role in the company’s growth into a leading international player in the incubation market, with over 4,000 machines installed worldwide. As Commercial Director, he oversees the sales and marketing activities, including managing an extensive agent network across 30 countries. Joost has been instrumental in the development of some of the largest and most advanced hatcheries in the world, trusted by well-known industry leaders.

Joost grew up on his family’s farm, which was active in the layer industry with its own hatchery and rearing farms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and a Master’s degree in Economics, combining practical experience with a strong academic foundation. He also spent several years living in Latin America, gaining valuable international experience and insights into diverse markets.

Speaker 4: Robert Yaman - CEO Innovate Animal Ag.

Robert Yaman is the founder and CEO of Innovate Animal Ag, an organization dedicated to advancing technology-driven solutions for animal welfare. With a background in Silicon Valley, Robert has extensive experience in developing innovative solutions for the agricultural sector. His work focuses on cutting-edge technologies such as in-ovo sexing, which helps reduce waste and improve animal welfare in poultry production.
